Recruitment Background:
We are currently launching a new business in the software domain. Our software business will focus on areas that will become increasingly important in the future, particularly software quality. We plan to offer a range of services in this field.
This position is for a junior consultant in the functional safety and software quality fields, specifically within the international standards compliance consulting service. For those with little or no consulting experience, the role will initially involve gaining experience through development support and project management, focusing on functional safety standards compliance and related activities. Eventually, the goal is to develop into a full consultant role.
Job Description:
You will provide consulting and support for standards compliance in functional safety (ISO26262/IEC61508) and software quality (Automotive-SPICE, CMMI) for manufacturing industry clients. The main responsibilities include:
・Consulting on functional safety (ISO26262/IEC61508) and software quality (Automotive-SPICE, CMMI) in the automotive industry (with plans to expand to other industries in the future).
・Providing consulting and development support for new standards such as SOTIF (ISO21448) and others.
・Collaborating with sales to create proposals related to the improvement of customers' software development processes and support for system-wide standards compliance development.
Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory:
All of the following are required:
At least 3 years of experience in system and software development in the automotive industry (related to safety-critical products: ASIL A-D).
At least 2 years of experience as a project leader in the automotive industry.
Note: If basic knowledge is lacking, training will be provided after joining.
Qualifications:
At least a technical college diploma or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
・Basic knowledge of Automotive-SPICE and functional safety standards (ISO26262 or IEC61508).
・Basic understanding of other automotive-related standards, such as SOTIF (ISO21448).
・English skills (beginner level: able to understand international standards).
