Job Description

You will be responsible for backend development of web and mobile applications.

Specific Duties
Full cycle of backend system development, including requirement definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Maintenance and improvement of existing systems to enhance stability and performance.
Database design and optimization.
Performance tuning and security measures, etc.
Note: Depending on the project situation, you may also be assigned frontend and infrastructure tasks, not just backend development.

Project Examples:
Below are examples of projects, and you will be assigned projects based on your experience, preferences, and aspirations.
(1) Construction Industry - Hazard Prediction Activity Management System
Developed a SaaS-based web service to visually present hazard prediction (KY) activities at construction sites using AR comics, using AWS, Vue.js, and Python.
The system made it easier to disseminate crisis management information and allowed crisis management tasks to be performed online, reducing the burden on on-site workers.

(2) IoT-Enabled Home Appliance System for a Major Electronics Manufacturer
This is a new project to develop APIs for controlling and collecting information from IoT-enabled home appliances.
The project covered the entire process, including the testing phase, and contributed to improving development efficiency.

◆Hiring Background
The company was founded in April 2005 in Sapporo and later relocated its headquarters to Yokohama while continuing to provide support through a development center in Sapporo. Originally focused on QA (quality assurance), the company now aims to increase the proportion of development projects, expanding from upstream to downstream in system development while utilizing its expertise in QA.

Currently, the company has numerous project requests, including several large-scale projects (worth tens of millions of yen) and cloud-based system development, as well as smartphone apps and IoT development projects requiring modern technologies.

In response to this demand, the company plans to expand the development center’s team from 50 to about 60 members this year. However, there is a shortage of project leaders, which is why we are recruiting for this position.

Mandatory Requirements
