As the main partner of a construction machinery manufacturer's core system, the company is in charge of Java-based application development as a prime vendor.
Previously, the company customized ERP packages (accounting, production management, cost management, inventory management, sales management, etc.), but recently it has shifted to scratch development and is developing core systems for the manufacturing industry in a total of three areas. You will be assigned to one of these three areas.
・Production management (cost, inventory management)
・Service parts business
・Production management package for construction machinery manufacturer group companies
The phases you are responsible for vary depending on the team and area, but they cover a wide range from requirements definition to upstream and downstream manufacturing and maintenance.
We have had a long-term business relationship with this customer for over 10 years, and the scale is expanding every year. Initially, we started with a project to replace the host computer with an ERP package, and started with a team of several people led by the current manager, and by paying close attention to the customer and responding proactively, we were able to win the project by holding off on major vendors. We are highly praised for our response, which places importance on speed and thinking about things from the customer's perspective.
As the current base is in Ibaraki Prefecture, this position is suitable for people who want to return to Ibaraki and work there.
For reference, the Industry Division 1 has other projects such as the following.
・Core system development for multiple industries

If you are in your late 30s when you join the company, you will be immediately entrusted with leadership on new projects other than your current construction equipment manufacturer and will be self-reliant as a playing manager. Company Features This is an SIer established in 1988 with joint investment from Nippon Steel Corporation (now Nippon Steel Corporation) and Itochu Corporation. Even before the term "system integration" was common, we have a track record of consistently expanding our business as an open-system SIer. We have continued to grow steadily with a stable management base, while facing our customers' needs with "technology that is half a step ahead" to solve their problems, and as a prime vendor, we have challenged ourselves to develop high-value-added systems as our customers' information strategy partner. For example, we have achieved good results in multiple fields with our high technical capabilities and track record, such as derivative systems for megabanks, production management systems for the manufacturing industry, system development using cutting-edge technologies such as the cloud, and unique workflow package development. As a career, we aim to become a talent that plays three roles, known as an NCI-SE, and can participate in projects from upstream to downstream with discretion as a small but elite professional group. We also insist on being "our own way." With this as our slogan and our mid-to-long-term vision for 2022, we aim to be a company that is constantly growing and challenging itself to create and design new businesses.
