There are several telecommunications projects at prime or semi-prime levels (through parent companies Nippon Steel Solutions and Itochu). You will be involved in one of these projects from the upstream process and work as a PL or PL candidate in a team with a partner company.
Specific projects include bandwidth control for mobile phones and smartphones and charge and control systems for packet communication volume. You will be able to handle technologies specific to telecommunications carriers and technologies that are not generally accessible, making this a great position to improve not only your management skills but also your technical skills.
You will also be able to learn infrastructure technologies, and since we have recently been using cloud infrastructure, this position is also suitable for those who are interested in AWS and want to improve their skills in the field.
In addition, there are cases where you will be in charge of projects involving the latest technologies such as AI and IoT, and as a leader, you will be expected to grow and play an active role while leading members in both technical and management aspects.
The following is an example of a project.
◆Telecom application system
development
You will be responsible for requirements definition, basic design, detailed design, manufacturing, and upstream to downstream unit, integration, and comprehensive testing.
There is in-house comprehensive development and external development support under a quasi-delegation system.
・Batch program: Java
・Screen program: Java (Web, GUI), PHP
・OS: Linux (server), Windows (client)
・Database: MySQL, Oracle
・Maintenance work
Responsible for investigations and inquiries from customers.
Application system failure response (understanding the situation, isolating the cause, recovering from the failure, reporting the failure)
[Prime ratio]
30% prime projects
[Phase in charge]
Depends on the project (upstream to downstream)
[Project size]
10-50 man-months/3-6 months
[Team size]
Industry 2 Division, 22 people
∟Director (40s)
∟3 group leaders
∟18 members
[Strengths and features]
We have been working on telecom projects for over 20 years. We have a track record of designing and developing systems that run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we are entrusted with projects based on that track record. Because we provide services to general users through telecom projects, it is rewarding to see the systems we create being used by people around us, such as ourselves and our families. Services will be created using telecommunications mechanisms and systems that are rarely accessible, so anyone with an interest should find it fascinating.
[Team atmosphere]
Since the company's employees interact with customers, many of them are friendly. Many also have a strong interest in technology. As a development vendor at the client's site, you will be expected to promote projects from a technical professional standpoint.
As a guideline, if you are in your 30s, you will be expected to lead a team and handle projects at the client's site as a PL.
We expect you to grow as a PM beyond that.
[Required experience]
・Experience in designing and developing web applications (mainly Java)
・Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
・Experience making proposals to customers (suitable for proposals on designs during ongoing projects)
・Experience as a sub-leader or team leader
[Preferred conditions]
・Experience in the telecommunications field.
・Interested in and able to keep up with new technologies (cloud, AI, etc.)
・Experience building infrastructure (on-premise, AWS, etc.)
Highest level of education: Graduate school, university, high school
[Desired candidate]
Currently, there are few team leaders who oversee projects, and each employee is responsible for one or more projects. In order to strengthen the organization, we are looking for a leader who can lead a team himself. On the other hand, although he is a leader, the telecom field requires technical skills, so it is preferable for the candidate to have knowledge and experience in design and development. We are looking for someone who can be an immediate leader, or, if young, someone who has the potential to grow into a leader.

Company Features This is an SIer established in 1988 with joint investment from Nippon Steel Corporation (now Nippon Steel Corporation) and Itochu Corporation. Even before the term "system integration" was common, we have a track record of consistently expanding our business as an open-system SIer. We have continued to grow steadily with a stable management base, while facing our customers' needs with "technology that is half a step ahead" to solve their problems, and as a prime vendor, we have challenged ourselves to develop high-value-added systems as our customers' information strategy partner. For example, we have achieved good results in multiple fields with our high technical capabilities and track record, such as derivative systems for megabanks, production management systems for the manufacturing industry, system development using cutting-edge technologies such as the cloud, and unique workflow package development. As a career, we aim to become a talent that plays three roles, known as an NCI-SE, and can participate in projects from upstream to downstream with discretion as a small but elite professional group. We also insist on being "our own way." With this as our slogan and our mid-to-long-term vision for 2022, we aim to be a company that is constantly growing and challenging itself to create and design new businesses.
