◆President's comment In order to realize a society where everyone is respected and can live in peace, national laws are frequently revised. We are a system integrator (SIer) that predicts areas where legal revisions will be necessary and develops, maintains, and operates package software that utilizes GIS (geographic information system), which is our specialty. One of our representative products is the "Evacuation Action Assistance Register System," which links with the local government's system to show on a map the homes of people who are considered "vulnerable to disasters," such as bedridden elderly people who cannot go to evacuation shelters by themselves in the event of a disaster. We have also developed a "Child Consultation System" that converts consultation contents into electronic medical records for local governments that serve as consultation centers for child abuse, etc. In the agriculture and forestry field, the tablet-type "Field Survey Support System" makes it easy to input information, which not only reduces the burden on investigators but also leads to the redevelopment of idle farmland. We are working on developing systems that contribute to a wide range of administrative services. With the recent establishment of the Digital Agency and the development of government clouds for core business systems in municipalities, we are also turning our own products to the cloud. Our current business area is mainly in the Kanto, Koshinetsu, and Tohoku regions, but as we move to the cloud, we will be able to expand nationwide in one go. We are also considering expanding into Tokyo in the near future, and the outlook for the future is quite bright. Rewarding work that saves many people and contributes to making their lives safer is also full of great possibilities.
