[Overview]
You will be responsible for system operation and maintenance at an operations center (data center) that handles many infrastructure operations for major telecommunications companies.
Your job is to support already constructed systems, such as networks and servers, to ensure that they operate stably during daily operations.
While SEs and programmers are the "creators," system operation and maintenance engineers take over and "protect and nurture" them. As for future career plans, you can choose whether to become an operator, hone your skills as an engineer, or proceed to project management work as a service manager, depending on your career plan!

■System monitoring
Monitors the system to see if there are any errors,
and if there is an abnormality, takes action before the problem becomes serious.
・First response/isolation
Confirms and investigates the situation according to the procedure manual, and takes action such as restarting.
If the problem cannot be resolved, contacts a more advanced department and hands over the response.
■Service desk
Receives inquiries and requests from customers and responds according to the procedure manual.
・Front desk work (customer service for corporations)
・Remote hands (checking and operating hardware)
■Operation management
Manages and improves customer systems/environments and operational structures.
・Optimizes operational environment due to system changes
・Raises/proposes/improves issues due to improved service levels
