【Job Description】
Web application development including new feature additions, performance enhancements, technical improvements, and updates using offshore development (Vietnamese subsidiary) for one of the products in the Rakuraku series (Rakuraku expense settlement, Rakuraku detailed statement, Rakuraku attendance).
【Example】
1. Development project management for the Vietnamese subsidiary:
- Understand and communicate the contents of specifications/design documents created by Japanese designers effectively.
- Progress management for outsourced development projects.
- Review of source code/unit test item documents, conducting acceptance testing, and ensuring quality.
2. Support for the Vietnamese subsidiary:
- Understand and provide clear answers to questions/queries.
- In cases of uncertainties, organize the information and consult with Japanese engineers to find solutions.
- Engage in improvement activities for enhancing productivity, quality, development operation rate, and technical capabilities of the Vietnamese subsidiary.
3. Business trips to our subsidiary in Vietnam
Travel to the offshore development site for current situation understanding, sharing of know-how, and strengthening relationships.
* The Vietnamese side has representatives from Japan, as well as local PM/PL/development team members.
* Expected to be for 2 weeks to 1 month, 1-2 times a year.
* There will be no travel until the COVID-19 situation stabilizes.
4. Other areas, such as talent development and process improvement
- In the future, we will focus on nurturing and mentoring bridge engineers.
- Additionally, we will provide recommendations to improve offshore development within the company.
