Hiring Background In order to support group management worldwide and aim to become the de facto standard, we are looking for a candidate to lead our Customer Success (CS) organization through the enhancement of our consolidated accounting system, which has maintained the No. 1 market share in Japan for over 10 years (※). This position will be responsible for solving customer challenges through our product. Job Description Summary As a leader of the Customer Success (CS) department, you will join an organization that acts as a hub for corporate users, sales partners, and engineers working on product development, working alongside executives to ensure stable operations. Your role will involve improving customer satisfaction for existing clients, while also exploring and planning new business opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling to contribute to business growth. Details Our company offers a range of solutions, primarily our consolidated accounting system, that gathers and visualizes accounting and management information from group companies. Our strengths lie in our "customer base" and "high-profit structure," having long-term relationships with major publicly listed companies, including about 100 of the top 200 by market capitalization in Japan. Our operating profit margin has been around 20% annually, and the nature of the "accounting" business, which is unlikely to disappear, means we have a low replacement risk and a stable business foundation. Currently, we are evolving our on-premise B2B products, which have been provided to approximately 1,200 enterprise clients, into a SaaS service—a significant challenge with few precedents. Given the nature of accounting systems, our primary focus is ensuring the product is safe and secure to use. Building on this foundation, we aim to transform customers' group management and accounting operations, improving efficiency and productivity by leveraging technology to overcome past constraints and assumptions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Customer Success function (CS) as part of this larger SaaS transition. Your duties will include activating usage and improving satisfaction for existing users, as well as contributing to the creation of new value to offer customers. This may involve providing value through the utilization of accumulated accounting expertise, educational content, and vast accounting data for "data-driven" value provision. You will be tasked with creating a customer success organization from scratch, aiming to resolve customer issues, improve service levels, increase customer satisfaction, and ultimately drive business results through increased contract renewals and additional purchases. As someone who knows the customers best, you will work closely with internal stakeholders (sales, partners, development, etc.) to ensure customer success. Appeal of Working at DIVA Create Valuable Products: Through our BPO services, you can directly hear from large enterprise users and create products that genuinely help customers. Autonomy and Initiative: Rather than just creating what you’re told, you’ll have the freedom to express what you want to create for the customer based on your expertise and ideas. High Growth & Stable Environment: We continue to grow at a rate of 20-25% annually, with a salary increase rate around 7%, while maintaining a stable business environment and a work-life balance (with around 10 hours of overtime per month). You’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself while maintaining a focus on your specialization. Development Environment Development Languages: C#, JavaScript, C++, TypeScript Infrastructure: On-premise servers, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services Middleware: PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS DynamoDB, Nginx, Containers Our existing products (on-premise) have been developed primarily with C++, C#, Windows, and OracleDB, but we are working on selecting and planning better technologies for the SaaS transition.
