Job Description

In large-scale civil engineering construction projects for major general contractors (zenekon), I am involved in various tasks such as setting benchmarks and performing construction management for different methods and types of work.
Using AutoCAD drawings, I interpret design documents and set benchmarks (string lines) according to the construction conditions at the site. Recently, some projects have been using UAVs (drones) to capture 3D point clouds for volume calculations and other construction management tasks.

3. Structural inspections for infrastructure facilities

(Workflow)
・Pre-construction Surveying
Establishing reference points and benchmarks at the construction site, conducting topographical surveys and cross-section surveys, and comparing them with the design documents.

・Commencement of Construction
Performing preparatory work such as designing temporary roads and marking the positions for structural elements.

・Construction Management Assistance
Assisting as a general contractor staff member, handling tasks such as shape management, safety management, and document management.

・Construction Surveying
Performing benchmark setting and shape measurements for each type of work, and supplementing any lost reference points or benchmarks during construction.

・Completion Inspection
Assisting in final inspections, including performing shape measurements.

Mandatory Requirements

[Required]
Experience in benchmark, leveling, or route surveying or experience in civil engineering construction sites
※Preference given to those with experience in 3D point cloud surveying
Education: High school diploma or higher

Preferred Requirements

[Preferred qualifications] Surveyor/civil engineering construction management engineer
