Job Description

Overview: The company is a 100% subsidiary of Iwai Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., which has maintained profitability for 74 years. It aims to become the world’s No. 1 plant manufacturer in terms of customer support, primarily serving direct demand from major pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company offers a complete two-day weekend system and a comprehensive benefits package.

■Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants that the company has installed for major pharmaceutical manufacturers. This includes pharmaceutical production facilities such as injection drug manufacturing equipment and biotechnology product systems, as well as customer support in the food and chemical industries within the membrane separation equipment business.

■Working Hours:
In cases of customer installation work, you may need to work shifts according to the client's business hours.

■Maintenance Role Characteristics:
Maintenance of facilities installed by the company is also a valuable opportunity to gather information on equipment modifications and updates, and you will work closely with the sales team.
Developing existing customer relationships and deepening engagement is a key part of the daily operations.

■Details:
The company, leveraging its "fabless" business model (operating without its own factories), provides fast and appropriate solutions to expand its business. It addresses various challenges in pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, from identifying customer needs to proposal, plant design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and testing.
Even in maintenance, you will negotiate with both clients and partner companies. You will take customer requirements expressed in words and transform them into concrete solutions. After repeated discussions, you will collaborate with the design department and partner companies to procure the necessary materials. As a supervisor during maintenance work, you will also be involved in final commissioning and the preparation of completion documents.
After joining, you will start by working in areas of your expertise (e.g., mechanical design, electrical design, construction management) and, over time, develop into a project manager capable of overseeing projects in their entirety.
