Job Description

We have many major pharmaceutical companies as clients / Remote work implemented. Great work-life balance / A 100% subsidiary of Iwai Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., which has been operating profitably for 74 years / Fully paid weekends and comprehensive benefits

■ Job Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for construction management of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment entrusted to us by pharmaceutical companies. Most of the construction projects will be completed within 1 to 2 months. Occasionally, larger projects may last around 10 months, but this is rare (about 10% of the time). On average, you will be responsible for 3 to 4 projects annually. The scale of the projects varies, but typically focuses on new construction projects worth several hundred million yen.

■ Organizational Structure:
Manager: 1 (in their 50s)
Team members: 4 (all in their 40s)

■ Working Style:
The work area is nationwide. However, our construction managers do not travel constantly to job sites across the country. Since preparation before actual construction is crucial for pharmaceutical plants, after completing a project, the team will return to the head office for about a month to prepare for the next project. We also offer remote work options. Therefore, you can work from home instead of coming to the office. (In the fiscal year 2020, approximately 80% of work, excluding on-site construction, was done remotely.)

■ Company Culture:
Our company values its employees. Specifically, we have introduced remote work for plant engineers, which is difficult in many industries, and we also provide travel allowances for weekends during business trips to remote areas. Additionally, we have a unique system for unused paid leave, allowing it to be used for illness, childcare, or caregiving purposes (up to 40 days).

This system allows employees to accumulate unused paid leave that would typically expire after a certain period. Employees can pool up to 40 days of leave for special circumstances such as injury, childcare, or caregiving. This means you can keep up to 80 days of paid leave. Last year, we also introduced staggered working hours, and we are continuing to introduce employee-friendly systems.
