Job Responsibilities
•Mechanical design of vacuum units, chambers, and transport systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Specific Duties
•Specifying and detailed design for new equipment development and improvements to existing equipment.
•Research and development of equipment (concept determination, prototyping, verification).
•Mechanical and piping design for existing equipment.
•Selection of parts and control equipment, along with technical evaluation.
•Creation of assembly instructions for manufacturing processes.
Work Style
•Depending on the department, business trips may occur several times a year or month (domestic and international).
•Overtime: 20-40 hours.
Required Qualifications (Essential)
•Practical experience in mechanical design.
Education
•High school, technical college, or university graduate, with relevant practical experience.
Desired Qualifications (Preferred)
•Experience in design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, industrial machinery, robots, automotive-related devices, etc.
•Experience in the semiconductor industry.
•Knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials science, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics, with experience in simulation-based analysis and system design.
•Development experience in vacuum, thermal-related systems (such as chillers), and gas supply/exhaust systems.
•Knowledge of mechatronics.
•Strong communication skills.
•English proficiency.
