Job Description

Job Description

•Mechanical design for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including vacuum units, chambers, and transportation systems.

Specific Duties

•Development of new equipment and improvement/modification of existing equipment, including specification review and detailed design.
•Research and development of equipment (concept determination, prototyping, validation).
•Mechanical design and piping design for existing equipment.
•Selection and technical evaluation of parts and control devices.
•Preparation of assembly instruction manuals for the manufacturing process.

Work Style

•Depending on the department, occasional business trips may be required, ranging from several times a year to several times a month (domestic and international).
•Overtime: Approximately 20-40 hours per month.

•Experience in design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, industrial machinery, robots, or automotive-related equipment.
•Semiconductor industry experience.
•Knowledge of mechanical dynamics, material mechanics, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics, with experience in simulation-based analysis and system design.
•Experience in the development of vacuum, thermal systems (e.g., chillers), or gas supply and exhaust systems.
•Knowledge of mechatronics.
•Strong communication skills.
•Proficiency in English.
