Job Description
•Design and development of mechanisms such as vacuum units, chambers, and transport systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Specific Duties
•Specification review to detailed design for new equipment development and improvement/modification of existing equipment.
•Research and development of equipment (concept formulation, prototyping, verification).
•Mechanical and piping design for existing equipment.
•Selection and technical evaluation of parts and control devices.
•Preparation of assembly instructions for manufacturing processes.
Work Style
•Depending on the department, there may be occasional domestic or international business trips (several times per year or per month).
•Overtime Status: Approximately 20–40 hours per month.
Requirements (Required)
•Experience in mechanical design
Educational background
•High school, college, or university graduate with work experience
Desired Qualifications (Preferred)
•Experience in design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, industrial machinery, robotics, automotive systems, etc.
•Experience in the semiconductor industry.
•Knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials science, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, with experience in simulations and system design.
•Development experience related to vacuum, thermal systems (e.g., chillers), gas supply and exhaust systems.
•Knowledge of mechatronics.
•Communication skills.
•Proficiency in English.
