Job Description

Job Description: Mechanical design of vacuum units, chambers, and transport systems in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Specific Tasks:

•Consideration of specifications and detailed design when developing new equipment or improving existing equipment.
•Research and development of equipment (concept definition, prototyping, validation).
•Mechanical design and piping design for existing equipment.
•Selection of parts/control equipment and technical evaluation.
•Creation of assembly instructions for the manufacturing process.

Work Style:

•Depending on the department, occasional business trips (a few times per month or a few times per year) may be required, both domestic and international.
•Overtime: 20-40 hours.

Educational background
High school, college, or university graduate with work experience

Preferred Requirements

Desired Qualifications (Preferred):

•Design and development experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, industrial machinery, robotics, or automotive-related fields.
•Experience in the semiconductor industry.
•Knowledge of mechanical engineering, material science, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics, with experience in simulation-based analysis and system design.
•Experience in the development of vacuum, thermal systems (e.g., chillers), and gas supply/exhaust systems.
•Knowledge of mechatronics.
•Strong communication skills.
•Proficiency in English.
